About UsSmokin’ Iron Farms was founded July 27th, 2006. We have several products that are superior to our competition. The meats are leaner, healthier and far more flavorful. The reasons are simple. There are no growth hormones or other chemicals injected into or ingested by the animals. There is no trauma associated in loading the animals up and shipping them to a slaughter house because the Hutterite colony recently built a state-of-the-art processing plant on site. We are a company that is conscientious and focused on customer satisfaction. Our families are important to us and we are very concerned about what we consume, and we know you are too. Iron Creek Colony: Iron Creek Colony is a Hutterite colony of seventy five individuals. They are all hard working, caring, and proud people. They recently built a new state-of-the-art beef/pork processing plant. Two of their dedications in life are family and a respectful work ethic. They believe in sharing their classic, farm fresh products. For a healthier life style that everyone can appreciate.
Profiles:Barb Kaleta/Manager – I am an outgoing and energetic person who loves people and loves conversation. I am a meat cutter and have 25 years experience in the fresh meat business. My dream was to one day have my own old fashioned butcher shop with high quality produce supplied by the Hutterite colony. Skye/Sales – I am an outgoing, energetic and happy person that loves working with people. I have a year and a half experience working at Smokin’ Iron Farms and have learned tons about serving high quality products and the pride that comes with that. I look forward to continuing being a part of this family business in the years to come. Rachel Kaleta/Cake Decorator – I am a loving, caring person that takes pride in all that I do. I have been working in the baking industry for over ten years, five of which have been cake decorating which is my true passion. Cake Decorating – Rachel has begun making sugar free vanilla and chocolate cakes as well as cupcakes with sugar free butter cream icings. More and more people are being diagnosed with diabetes as well as being more health conscience. Now everyone can “have their cake and eat it too!” I also make sugar free pies that are sold here in Smokin’ Iron Farms.
